We review the winners of last weekend's fantasy round, look at where some of the frontpagers finished and mock KD Drummond (a little).
Every Wednesday we announce the winners of the previous weekend's Pick 6 Football game here on Blogging The Boys, and today is no different.
This week's winner is BTB-member InkedKing, who built a commanding 10-point win with a team built around a trio of 2010 draft picks: Dez Bryant, Sam Bradford and Jermaine Gresham. The results of InkedKing's team were good enough to place him 14th among all SBNation participants.
Overall, 90 BTB-members took part in the game last week, and many found that it wasn't quite as easy this week to beat out the frontpage writers: Dave Halprin and I came in 18th and 17th respectively. Of course, if you had your sights set on KD Drummond, beating him would have been a piece of cake, as he came in 58th and continues to haunt the nether regions of this fantasy game.
Join us again this week, it probably won't take much to beat KD again, and that in itself should be motivation enough.
The game itself is really simple, and you can enter and leave at any time. You don't even have to log on to the game, as the site automatically recognizes your BTB account. Once there, you'll have a fixed fantasy budget with which you can pick six different players (QB, RB, WR, TE, K, Wildcard). Popular player are more expensive, less popular players can be had for less money. Your challenge is to put together six fantasy players that maximize your bang-for-the-buck.
If you want to be featured on next week's leaderboard, enter your picks before Week 7 kicks off on Thursday night. Click on the banner below and you'll be taken directly to the Pick 6 welcome page, where you can select the players to fit your fantasy budget.
Below are last week's winning teams from the three top BTB participants:
