Cowboys have never beaten the Ravens in Franchise History - is this the best chance?

Have played only 3 times but have come up short each time:

1 Sun November 19, 2000 L
Dallas Cowboys @ Baltimore Ravens
0 27
2 Sun November 21, 2004 L
Dallas Cowboys @ Baltimore Ravens
10 30
3 Sat December 20, 2008 L
Dallas Cowboys
Baltimore Ravens
24 33

The first game is no surprise - that was Baltimore's SuperBowl year with that incredible defense. They had 4 shut-outs in the regular season and 4 other games where they only allowed a single score. They average 5.7 points a game scored against them in the playoffs. Quincy Carter could have won the SB with that defense, let alone Trent Dilfer.

2004 was as expected, Baltimore were only 9-7 but were at home and Dallas had lost 5 of its last 6 in the 6-10 regression year under Big Bill.

2008 was the best chance to win with both teams at 9-5 with playoffs on the line and Dallas at home. Another bizarre finish in what has become a recurring theme for this team in the last 10 years. Romo drove for 3 scores in the 4th Qtr only to see the defense give up 77 yard and then 82 yard runs for TDs! That Romo just can't win the big games....

So while the Cowboys have never won against the Ravens, in the first two Baltimore were simply better and Dallas blew the other. It will be a tough ask again this time - despite the loss of Terrell Suggs Ravens could be 4-1 and haven't lost at home since December 2010! But then the Cowboys are undefeated as an underdog this year - they seem to occassionally find something when they are not expected to win. Maybe they can this time...
