Dan Connor, filling in for the injured Sean Lee, will now need his own fill-in. Connor has been ruled out of Sunday's game and the newest guy on the Cowboys block, Ernie Sims, will likely get the start.

"Ernie's going to play a ton this week," said defensive coordinator Rob Ryan. "I wouldn't be surprised if he starts the game. We've got some good guys there, Alex Albright, Orie Lemon, so they'll all play. We're looking forward to it."

Dez Bryant is still listed as questionable and has been held out of practice all week. Kevin Ogletree is also questionable.

Others ruled out include Phil Costa, DeMarco Murray, Matt Johnson and Sean Lissemore.

The Cowboys will call Kevin Kowalski off the PUP list next Tuesday.

The Cowboys will activate guard/center Kevin Kowalski off the physically unable to perform list on Tuesday and will have a three-week window in which to call him up to the active roster or hold him out for the season.
