The NFL PR department informs us that entering Week 12, there are 25 teams within two games of a playoff spot. And with six weeks to play, that makes the playoff picture far from clear.
"Stacking wins together is what good teams do this time of year," says Tony Romo, who boasts a 21-3 (.875) in his career as a starter in November. "You need to put yourself in position for the stretch run. It’s going to keep on getting bigger every game."
Week 12 begins with a Thanksgiving tripleheader in which five of the six teams playing won their Week 11 games. The Cowboys will host the Redskins in a game that could have significant implication on the NFC East playoff picture. And as Romo said, the games will only keep getting bigger from here on out.
Our panel this week is not unanimous in picking the Cowboys for the win, and has only four unanimous picks out of the 16 games this week. Should make for an interesting week of football. And without further ado, here are our picks for Week 12, 2012.
