Jerry's Cowboys

Stay connected for news and updates

At long last Jerry has hired a head coach who understands the kind of guys it takes to coach and to play the game of professional American football. It is no coincidence that this team never quits, despite the odds against them. Coach Garrett's having the "right kind of guys" is more than a mantra. It is absolutely necessary. Talent is something all the teams have, albeit some more than others. What separates the winners from the losers is the commitment of one's entire self to one's teammates and the Game. Busted jaw? Wire it up and go. Family problems? Cut 'em lose and go. Slings and arrows of misfortune? Suck it up and go. Criticism? Take it and get better. Death in the family? Win one for the "Gipper." The level of commitment and sacrifice required to win is second only to the gladiators of the Roman Colosseum, and to war. My hat is off to Jerry and to Jason. They are committed to finding the right kind of guys; guys like Witten, Romo, Spencer, Lee, and most of the rest of the guys on this roster.

Thank you Jerry, Jason, and everyone else responsible for the transition we are witnessing.
