Ask a Bengal(s) Fan

Howdy and Whodey Cowboy fans:

Your Cowboys are facing the Cincy Bengals this week, as we're all probably aware and counting down the hours to kickoff. Football is my favorite time of year, almost a season on my calendar, there is no Fall, only football!

On the Bengals side of the ball they are dealing with a couple of injuries this week which could have some impact on the game. The Bengals running back corps are depleted from injuries to RB2 Bernard Scott, out for the season, and his replacement, Cedric Peerman, possibly lost for the rest of the regular season. The Bengals kicker, Mike Nugent, appears to be suffering from a calf injury as the Bengals tryout free agent kickers this week.

The Bengals have a couple of former Cowboys on their roster in 2012. Newman has played well enough to push Clements out of his starting job. While Dennis Roland plays T/TE3 for the Bengals after a very brief stop in Dallas in 2006. And there is this other guy you might remember, Adam Jones. Or maybe "Pacman" is a more familiar name. He's played his best season as a Bengal in 2012. Routinely rated in ProfootballFocus's top 15 cover corners in the NFL. He also made a little statement this week about the Dallas game, "On Sunday I'll have a double chip on my shoulder."

As a Bengals fan, the questions that come to mind about your Cowboys, "Nate Livings, you all really that happy with him?" There was much fanfare in Cincy when Nate left. A similar situation to the Newman departure in Dallas? And I have to ask, "Who is hotter Romo's wife or the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders?"

Hoping for a great game for both teams on Sunday with no injuries.
