great read on (surprise) ESPN about how Nixon almost unilaterally extended the NFL's right to blackout ALL homegames
and how the NFL feared television would ruin local support of the teams.

Would this only affect the NFL?
If so, not a big deal bc the Cowboys don’t get blacked out. I would, however, buy the Rangers MLB package, but Texas and Louisiana are both blacked out bc they’re considered in the market (like I’m gonna drive 8 hours to Arlington).
