NFLPA is still stalling over HGH testing.
"No one will bully us into a test," Smith said, according to the Associated Press. "No one will force the players to accept something that's unfair. How could we? We are going to continue to fight and ensure that due process is something that is not thrown away at the expense of just having the test.""
Translation, they are still going to stall so the guys using it won't get busted.

How can a test be unfair
“Hey we draw your blood just to make sure you aren’t using PED’s”
"Obviously, I felt like if I ran into my lineman there it was going to help the play" ~Tony Romo
if the test has an inordinate number of false positives, it is unfair.
Unless every player is tested or the layers who are tested are chosen in a truly random process, it is unfair.
If the test can be manipulated in that there are not safeguards to ensure the integrity of the chain of evidence, it is unfair.

The NFLPA maintains that the standard test that the Olympics and international sports authorities have used for years is suspect.
That is their basis for claiming the test isn’t safe/fair. They have had experts from the international drug test committees talk to them, but they refuse to be satisfied. They want a huge study done, probably multi year to see if NFL players naturally have higher levels of HGH than other pro athletes. The NFLPA wants a new baseline set for NFL players only. It is their basis for refusing to standard test.
I have never seen any reason for them to think this, just it is what they keep saying.
makes more sense

That may well be the case, but if I was the NFLPA counsel, I'd more concerned about the issues I raised.
Drug testing is used by some employers as a way to get rid of inconvenient employees.

Its silly anyway ...
to get caught by current testing methods for hgh you would have to tested 24 hrs after injection …. smh
Shame on the NFLPA
The more they keep up this stance, the more it’ll look like they have something to hide.
