He even went and played for TB after NE threw him out.
He had a degenerative back prob, I am pretty sure.

He did miss 2 games this year with NE due to a back issue.
But if he had a even semi serious condition I doubt the Pats would have traded for him, nor would he have passed their physical to join the team.
He also had to be injury free to be cut and TB picked him up, he also passed their physical.
I have known several people with back/knee issues that come and go, and are not testable without invasive surgery.

Yep, luck was definitely on their side this year.
Even in this game, they recovered every fumble they had. Patriots dropped passes that they usually catch. Can’t wait for the Cowboys luck to turn this way, but they have to put themselves in position to capitalize on that luck when the football gods smile upon them.
