outer rush is more important than middle push
The Giants had the outer rush. They won The Patriots had the inner push . It wasn;t enough It is better to have a pass rushing end than a big nose tackle. It is nice to have a big nose tackle but a pass rushing end is more disruptive.

Draft focus
So should we mainlly be concerned with finding a stud OLB and MAYBE a complimentary DE in the latter rounds or FA? I could see keeping Almost Anthony at a discount, but I think he will somehow get big money from someone else. I have endorsed picking up a stud NT, but your rationale makes sense pertaining to outer push. Has anyone did a story on Jonathan Massaquoi yet? I am really intrigued with this your man, and think he could be a draftday steal. What does everyone think?
gotta have both
NE had a great inside push, but hardly any on the outside where NYG had great push from the outside w/ some nice push from the inside. If an offense only has to worry about the inside push, then all the QB has to do us roll away from the inside push. Put someone like Poe or Ta’amu at NT, move Rat to DE w/ Hatcher & draft someone like Malik Jackson for 4 man fronts. Where will the opposing QB run to then? Ware? NT? If he rolls to the RT then he runs into Almost Anthony or whoever is there.

This is a tough one.
A great push through the middle forces the QB out of the pocket and disrupts everything. I could also argue that the outside pass rush is more effective as the Giants proved. If we can get another outside rusher, then that would be the thing to do.
