Around SBN: The MMA Hour Is Back

Yes that's right. The league is pushing for a Cowboys game to be played in my home country. Cowboys fan base is huge in Mexico. Tony Romo (or may I say Antonio Ramiro Romo) would get back to his roots for a weekend. All I know is, they'd have top notch home field advantage over their opponent.

I'll be shocked if you see the Cowboys give up a regular season home game.

Maybe they’ll play a pre-season game there. Or maybe a regular season away game.

Jerry Jones is not giving up one of his 8 home games unless it’s in his financial interest to do so.

The home team in these silly out of USA soil games is the team strapped for finances or having attendance problems.

"The tone is business," Garrett said. "Let's get to work. The Giants are going to be at the Meadowlands on Sunday at 4:15. They're an awfully good football team. We have to get ready for them."

what kind of compensation do the teams get

for playing in london/mexico? i haven’t been able to find any information on that?

I could see the Boys doing it in Mexico since they have a strong fan base there. And the travel wont be as extensive as in London.

Exactly, the Cowboys are not only America's team, but Mexicos team as well.

his Grandparents still live in Mexico (Dads side) the whole Mexican media would be ecstastic to have the Cowboys play in Mexico once again.

Maybe a preseason game, but not a regular season game.

The only prefect science is hindsight............Lock n Load

Yeah even if they get more revenue per normal home game ticket sales

Jerry/Arlington would lose money from the everything else to concessions, gift shop, parking, hotels etc.

Makes me start to wander

if the mexican crowd would do the same thing they do in Mexico National Team’s soccer games every time the opposing goalkeeper kicks off the ball. It’s a long tradition. salas88 would know what I’m talking about. As the goalkeeper starts taking steps towards the ball to kick it off, the crowd would hold their arms out like a zombie, and start chanting “AAAAAAAHHHHHH” building momentum towards the kick. And then once the goalie makes contact with the ball, they yell out “FAG!” in spanish. You literally hear the whole stadium yelling out when you’re watching the game on TV. So much, that if you watch those games live, the channel has to be ready to censor or completely mute the volume as it happens. lol

Let's go to Mexico!

There’s really no need.

Demographics and the U.S. Census Bureau tell us that pretty soon Mexico will be coming to you!!
