Like the creativity
But…. Tony would have another season running for his life with that o-line. Ziegler is a good prospect but who knows what Arkin can do. You would basically be starting 2 rookie guards and Myers is a good center with technique but I just don’t think he’s the right size for our o-line. He’s perfect in that Shanahan/Kubiak offense.
I dont see why Romo would be running for his life
Zeitler is a stud that could start right away. We could make Myers work fine, really anything is better than Phil Costa…. and I’m trusting that Callahan can coach up Arkin with a full offseason and get him ready to start. If Arkin can’t, then Montrae Holland is an adequate backup.

Laron Landry as a free safety?
Are you completely unaware of his skillset?

Good cuz if you thought Landry could cover you have to watch every time Desean Jackson gets to match up vs Landry

I like it, but
Adam Schecter has Osweiler rated as #21 in his top 25. I don’t agree with that, but I don’t think he lasts past round 3 given the weak qb class this year.

I've seen him projected around the 5th round actually...

I agree, and have seen that as well
I just don’t think this is the year to take a qb. Next year should be much deeper.

Look at what the Eagles did with Kolb
They took Kolb in the second rd when McNabb was perfectly fine, of course if McNabb dropped off then they would have a developed replacement, and if they didnt need him they would always use him as trade bait. McNabb ended up declining but there was an X-factor (Vick)….so the eagles traded him away for picks and pro bowl corner.
I think they should look at a qb with lots of potential, not early in the draft, but they are building for the future and romo isn’t getting younger.

No thanks
1) LaRon Landry is injured-Achillies Tendon.
2) Brock Osweiler at back up QB-no thank you. I watched the guy play, I’m not all that impressed with his arm, ability to see the field, or his decision making.
3) I’m not trading down if David DeCastro is still on the board. We can get Chase Minnifield in the 2nd round.
4) I’m all in favor of trading Felix Jones.
"The tone is business," Garrett said. "Let's get to work. The Giants are going to be at the Meadowlands on Sunday at 4:15. They're an awfully good football team. We have to get ready for them."

Trading jones probably isn't the best idea
What if Murray goes down? In college his big knock was being injury prone, scouts said he couldn’t stay healthy. The cowboys should be running the ball more next year with him and Felix.

Landry will be ok coming off that injury, he's also the best safety on the market.
Osweiler is an intriguing prospect at that spot. Also, I’d take Jenkins/Zeitler over DeCastro/Minnifield anyday…
