My first post since finally breaking down and signing up instead of just browsing BtB, stumbled on this today and wanted to share and see what yall feel/think/hear of the subject.
ProFootballWeekly.com reported in their NFC whispers that Washington is targeting SD WR Vincent Jackson and are primed to make him a "wow" type offer to convince him. I know this time of year rumor runs rampant, (we can cover him with Namdi... right?), but the thought of a 6'5 235 lb WR with wheels lining up against our secondary made me tremble. I'm hoping it's not so, but it sounds like the kinda crap that happens in the over competitive East every offseason. If so then beefing up our secondary is crucial both talent upgrade wise and the literal size wise... Kirkpatrick would enter back into consideration if rumor holds to form.
What do yall think, is there some fire to the story or is it just smoke?
