I don't understand I was just watching total access with Sapp, Fletcher, and Diehl. They kept talking about "its gas money for the little guy, the special teams guys" Or during the game 2 minutes left "hey if you tackle that guy in the 20 yard line its 500$"
I don't understand this at all. Why is 200, 500, 2000 even a difference to these guys? What is the purpose? That'd be like someone coming to your job and saying hey their is an extra 5, 10 , 20 dollars if you do etc.
Min salary for a rookie is $375,000, the avg player playing the avg career of 3.4 years will make 2.1 million dollars.
It is just silly to me, isn't that 6 or 7 figure salary enough incentive?
