Brian Billick gives his opinion on the Top 100 prospects. Going 2 positions above and below where we draft, who do you like? And yes, I realize it's silly doing this before FA. (His analysis, not mine) First Round - Dallas has the #14 selection: "12. Melvin Ingram, OLB, South Carolina: You will see him listed as either a defensive end or an outside backer, but in reality he is even more versatile than that. He could be special as a 3-technique pass rusher in nickel packages. 13. Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State: Reminds me of Warren Sapp with his athleticism and foot speed, but could stand to bulk up and improve his overall body strength. 14. Quinton Coples, DE, UNC: Superior Senior Bowl began to dismiss concerns about a subpar senior season at Carolina. But this guy isn't Julius Peppers — yet. He is the prototypical body type, but needs to be more refined. 15. Luke Kuechly, ILB, Boston College: Could have been a little bit of an overachiever in college, but there is no question he has the speed, power and instincts to be the first middle linebacker off the board. 16. Dont'a Hightower, ILB, Alabama: Similar to Brandon Spikes of New England, but faster on the field. He just wrapped up a solid Pro Day that will put him right back in the mix with Kuechly." Second Round - Dallas has the #45 selection: "43. Andre Branch DE Clemson 44. Travis Lewis OLB Oklahoma 45. Alfonzo Dennard CB Nebraska 46. Mohamed Sanu WR Rutgers 47. Brandon Thompson DT Clemson" Third round - Dallas has the #82 selection: "80. Andrew Datko OT Florida State 81. Josh Chapman DT Alabama 82. Kirk Cousins QB Michigan State 83. Leonard Johnson CB Iowa State 84. Mike Martin DT Michigan" Quite a few "big names" still available where we select in the 3rd if Billick is even close in his guesstimates. Me? I've got (1) Melvin Ingram - if enough QB's, etc jump into the Top 10 to push him down to us. (2) Alfonzo Dennard - although there are several names (Kelechi Osemele, Vinny Curry and Chase Minnifield) further down that I'd rather have. (3) Kirk Cousins - time to start grooming a replacement not named Stephen McGee. I'd actually rather grab Brock Osweiler who is about 10 spots further down in Mr. Billick's estimation. So, who have YOU got?
