With Dallas selecting Brockers (according to Mayock with the 14th pick), the Cowboys would be looking to add another potential starter in the second round. Interior offensive line and secondary are the two areas of biggest need for the Cowboys. A strong side outside linebacker and a nose tackle could also be considered early in the second round.

Twelve teams select before Dallas does on Friday, so six of the names above will be available with the 45th pick. As the top prospects available at positions that are generally overvalued, Jerel Worthy, Devon Still, and Mike Adams will likely be taken early in the second round. Andre Branch, Kendell Reyes, Brandon Weeden, and Janoris Jenkins will also probabaly be gone before Dallas gets on the clock on Friday.

Peter Konz could slide to Dallas at 45, which would upgrade the biggest position of need left on the Cowboys' roster. Would a draft where Dallas walks away with DE Michael Brockers in the first and the best center in the draft, Peter Konz in the second, be considered a success?
