I'm going to throw in the towel and go picket Jerry Jones' house until he shows himself for the Razorback spy he is and goes home to his backwoods, backward Motherland. Sorry, I'm just really upset about this last pick. I don't know why. I shouldn't be surprised that these 'Boys would waste another pick on a guy who will never pan out to be a meaningful contributor. I guess I just thought things were different now. I thought Garrett, Ryan, etc. would give us real football insight in the draft, instead of Jerry's K5-level football IQ. Then we made the Mo Claiborne move. My heart leaped. Then we picked this Canadian-born, JUCO-bred, Boise-finished (the guy's never faced good competition at ANY level!) potential bust to sit on our roster a few years, then get cut. And the frustrating fact remains, we had big ole Clemson DT Brandon Thompson just begging us to pick him. Pick him and plug our porous 3-4 middle, so our Pro Bowl DL can move to his best position. Pick him as a steal in the third after he should have gone high second round. But no. We wouldn't do something intelligent twice in one draft.

So. Chris Givens is one of the best receivers in this draft. He's still there. If he is available, we must pick him. It would almost be a guaranteed Laurent Robinson replacement. We won't, I know. And I'm sure we won't take a center with our second 4th round pick. Man. We always think we could be a GM. With the way Jerry runs things, I think I actually could.
