Well, things got a little interesting today at the end of the Dallas Cowboys minicamp. First, DeMarco Murray and Jason Hatcher got a bit rowdy with one another on the field, forcing Jason Garrett to step in and get things calmed down. Then Jerry Jones got a bit testy with the national media, denying that there were any problems with getting Michael Jenkins' medical records, despite reports to that effect. And then, in the Twitter stream, Bryan Broaddus and Calvin Watkins got kinda chippy over how well John Phillips has performed.
But now it is over. There will be no official activity for the team until the start of training camp, which is currently set for July 30 in Oxnard (with the rookies, injured players, and the quarterbacks coming into Valley Ranch on July 25). However, Tony Romo does not plan to remain completely idle. What a shame he has no leadership qualities.
One update since the tweets ran down: Rookie OLB Kyle Wilber has now signed his contract. With Matt Johnson's signing earlier in the day, that means that Morris Claiborne is the only rookie not signed, and everyone expects things to fall in place for his deal once some of the other high draft picks around the league come to terms.
Enough fooling around. Follow the jump for the Twitter feed.

Rookie S Matt Johnson making his debut. On the field for first time since rookie camp. Lot of catching up to do. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
Cowboys finishing minicamp. Mo Claiborne still w/o helmet but cutting and breaking hard in ball drills. Bruce Carter still just watching. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
Albright, Connor, Lissemore, Wilber, Felix, Crawford still doing side work. Rat working w/o helmet. Sensabaugh watching. |
Bryan Broaddus |
LIVE from the stadium today, not much going on now, no group work yet. Will report as soon as something happens |
Carlos A. Mendez |
Cole Beasley is practicing. Fell in a break for the ball in end zone yesterday. Looked like a knee. Does not seem affected today. |
Todd Archer |
A sore shoulder is keeping undrafted CB Isaac Madison from practicing. Had 2 picks on Wednesday. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
Cowboys Stadium buzzing with kid campers and parents. 'How I Spent My Summer Vacation. Watching Cowboys Minicamp.' Cool report. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Noticed that Alex Albright is practicing today or at least he is being used on the scout team for drills. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
One of the kid campers: Hawk Romo. He's been asleep most of the time, though. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
Orton again not throwing. Third straight day of extra snaps for McGee, Carpenter. McGee, Romo only QBs to work every day of OTAs, minicamp. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Matt Johnson has been getting the meetings and practice sent to him on DVD on a daily basis. Smart player, should pick up things quick. |
Rob Phillips |
Holmes lining up outside today when the offense goes three wide. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
Situational football: Fourth-and-2. Offense tries to draw encroachment and gets it. Fourth-and-10. Romo to Miles, beat Pool, who slipped. |
Josh Ellis |
Uh oh, Tyron Smith gave up a sack to DeMarcus Ware in June. This is most certainly reason for concern. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
Fourth-and-5. Sack by Ware on Free's side. Fourth-and-10, 42-yard TD by dez against carr and pool. Typical Dez. Jump, reach back at pylon. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Bryant goes vertical on Carr. Perfect pass by Romo to highest point. Problem that Pool was in no position to help. Result was touchdown. |
Calvin Watkins |
Brodney Pool just got beat for along with Brandon Carr on a deep TD reception to Dez. |
Nick Eatman |
LB Bruce Carter still sidelined with a hamstring injury. With Dan Connor also out, LB Orie Lemon working with first team. |
Bryan Broaddus |
I really like the quickness of Dunbar to the edge. Good job by Smith at point allowed Dunbar the edge. Explosive. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
About situational football: Pass rush not quite full speed, and rushers hold up if they're free. Ware would have gotten Romo before dez TD. |
Calvin Watkins |
Kevin Ogletree just dropped deep ball from Romo. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Orie Lemon loses leverage on the outside to Witten. Nice throw by Romo for first. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Garrett channelling his inter Sam Wyche with an attack no huddle offense putting a lot of pressure on Ryan group to react with personnel. |
Bryan Broaddus |
John Phillips continue to make plays down the field. Running much better and playing with confidence. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
McGee's two-min drive falls short. But showed something new. Under pressure, started to run, pulled up at LOS, hit Beasley on sideline out. |
Josh Ellis |
A bootleg call for Romo in short yardage- Forced a floater to Phillips, who wasn't looking. Picked by Sean Lee. Good time for the bad Romo. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
Matt Johnson is practicing. How do I know? He just made a stop on an off-tackle fullback keep. Didn't fool him. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Murray just hummed the ball at Hatcher after he got stopped on GL. If NFL is watching, they might lose some practices with way this is going |
Todd Archer |
Jason Garrett calls team together after some chippy play between Jason Hatcher n DeMarco Murray |
Calvin Watkins |
Defense laughing after Witten's TD catch ruled incomplete because he stepped out of bounds. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Ryan calls for 2nd goal line and Matt Johnson is in at safety. |
Rob Phillips |
Dunbar again showing speed to the edge on a goal line TD run. Not the biggest back; got stuffed earlier on a dive. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Josh Brent from the backside beats Leary across his face for a tackle for loss. Brent needs to get off blocks quicker. Good sign there. |
Calvin Watkins |
I'm down on John Phillips right now. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
More goalline: |
Bryan Broaddus |
Last two days have been good coverage days for Scandrick. Not much separation in his game. |
Calvin Watkins |
Barry Church missed a PBU a Witten makes a nifty catch across the middle. |
Calvin Watkins |
Victor Butler does nice job shedding blk of Tyron smith on screen pass. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Defense has come a long way, Garrett tries the throwback screen to Phillips that scored last time we were here. Victor Butler with the stop |
Bryan Broaddus |
Was wondering if my buddy |
Tim MacMahon |
Mike Leach is at JerryWorld watching Cowboys practice. Wouldn't count on warm embrace between him and A&M's Stephen McGee. |
Todd Archer |
Haven't seen Phillip Tanner take snap in practice. Turning into Lance Dunbar show. Maybe Tanner has a slight injury. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
John Phillips having a good practice. Catching all. Screen. Long pass at goal line. Adjusted to throw to his trailing shoulder from McGee. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Stephen McGee just doesn't make decisions quick enough. He still has the problem of holding the ball too long. |
Todd Archer |
Phillips did have a drop in that sequence. |
Calvin Watkins |
I just don't see the love behind John Phillips. He made a dumb move on a pick by Lee. He hit Lee in the neck. |
Calvin Watkins |
u don't hit ur best player in the neck during offseason practices. Stupid. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Geez everyone is getting hit in the damn neck. It's a football practice. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
Tough time for McGee in red zone/GL passing. Pressured. Threw away three balls. Not much open, though. Is getting a lot of work, at least. |
Josh Ellis |
You might want to think about DeMarco Murray with a high first round pick in fantasy football. He's caught a LOT of passes this summer. |
Bryan Broaddus |
James Hanna with a nice catch in traffic in 7 on 7. Seems easy for him to do that but when wide open, the ball is on the ground. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Vickers did something I haven't seen from a full back in a while, great adjusting catch working away from Romo in the flat. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Holmes takes Carr vertical up the sideline. Carr needs to get his hands on the WR to carry him like that. Holmes able to make play |
Bryan Broaddus |
Just wanted Matt Johnson in man coverage, at snap was able to adjust to his man didn't look concussed. Next play dropped as true FS. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
Cowboys doing a lot of 11 on 11 today. More highights: Miles fallaway catch on sideline. Holmes deep ball. Lee pick off a Romo boot. |
Bryan Broaddus |
For all you Cole Breasly fans, he just beat Taplin-Ross down the seam for a catch that would have been a large gain. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Cole Beasley has been deep catching punts the last two opportunities. |
Bryan Broaddus |
Holmes with a drop against Teddy Williams on a come back in two minute, then had a tough chance on a in route just out of his reach. |
Josh Ellis |
This has been the ugliest of ugly practices for Stephen McGee. |
Rob Phillips |
Asked about http://NFL.com report that Jenkins hasn't shared all his medical info from shoulder rehab, Jerry says team has it all. |
Rob Phillips |
No issues with Mike as far as communication goes while he has been in Florida, Jerry says. |
Josh Ellis |
4th-round pick Matt Johnson has agreed to terms with the Cowboys and expects to sign this afternoon. Leaves Claiborne as the only pick left. |
Josh Ellis |
Whoops... Forgot about 4th rounder Kyle Wilber. Two to go. |
Calvin Watkins |
Jerry Jones said he expects Morris Claiborne to report on time from a health standpoint for training camp. |
Calvin Watkins |
I believe it was a procedural issue in getting Jenkins' medical records. Jenkins wasn't trying to deny the Cowboys anything. |
Calvin Watkins |
Jason Garrett on McGee: "Stephen did a good job." Said he made strides. Said its hard sometimes for him with so many inexperience players. |
Calvin Watkins |
Medical staff told Jerry Jones Morris Claiborne won't be placed on PUP. |
Carlos A. Mendez |
DeMarcus Ware says there weren't a lot of mistakes on defense in OTAs and minicamp. 'Guys were really aggressive, really comfortable.' |
Carlos A. Mendez |
Dwayne Harris says the Cowboys want him to get under 200 pounds. He's at 205. Radway, Bryant have looked slimmer in OTAs, minicamp. |
Rob Phillips |
Jerry didn't sound confident the Cowboys could get training camp moved up. Would involve a lot of work with the NFLPA in a short time. |
