Jerry Tubbs Dies at 77

Jerry Tubbs, College Football Hall of Fame Member from the University of Oklahoma died today at age 77. He was the first Pro Bowl Middle Linebacker for the Cowboys taking over in the 4th game of the 1960 season. He first retired in 1966 and returned in 1967 as insurance for Lee Roy Jordan, Was linebackers coach for Landry for over 25 years coaching in 5 Super Bowls, winning two. Was considered one of the best if not the best Middle Linebacker during his playing days.
