SInce I'm not the type of person to research college performance, I've held off on picking a pet cat so far. But the latest practice news has me excited about Beasely.
The fact that he continues to make plays and even had one against Mo' has me feeling Beasely is at least going to be a training camp story to watch. Certainly Claiborne is a bit rusty and still a rookie, but you know this wasn't his first day back and we've heard that he's generally been so good that the QB's have been avoiding him.
Beasely seems to have just the right attitude. He has the humility to work and make the most of every single opportunity because he knows he has more to prove than a bigger receiver. But he also has just enough cockiness to think that he really belongs out there and that he has something special. I doubt I believe in Beasely as much as he does, but that's a good thing in my book.
I don't know what capacity that he will play by the time the season rolls around. We haven't even seen him practice against the big boys yet. He may not make the 53 for Dallas, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say this UDFA is going to be on someone's 53 when all is said and done.
