I recent post, regarding Dez Bryant's DV incident with his mother, I suggested that the young man needed counseling to address the obvious deeper issues affecting his off-the-field behavior. I think the general theme of the responses towards that suggestion were that I was suffering not only from delusions of grandeur, but also that I was an "Eye of Sauron" purporting to "know all things on all plains of existence."
Well,... thank God someone picked up the phone in Jerry's office later that day when I called to give him my diagnosis. I mean, good lord, if the front office hadn't had the foresight to listen to me,.... then they may have never realized that Dez was in need of some therapy to address his dysfunctional behavior.
When I saw that Dez had been ordered to not one, but two sessions/ week? Well, I just dropped down on my knees and thanked God that I was the only person on this planet who could plainly see that the young man needed to address his inner/ familial issues through counseling. Good-golly-Miss-Molly, just think, if the Jerr-Miester hadn't been doing his daily P90-X session in his office that day,... at the exact moment I called his gold plated telephone,.... I don't think anyone in the organization would have thought to get poor Dez some help.
