Questions and Thoughts on a young season.

I don't quite now what to make of this Cowboys team so far this season. Seems to me there are a lot more questions than there are answers. I know its very early and the way the NFL looks in week 3 is not often the case for week 12. That being said I worry (as do probably most of you) that this will be another 8-8 season filled with penalties and mistakes. I wonder after 25 games under his belt, and a full off season, if Garrett will ever figure out the answers to stop the penalties and mistakes? It's fair to say that there has not been much improvement in those area's, and its a reasonable amount of time to have seen some. I believe Jason Garrett is a smart man, and he preaches the right things, so are this group of players capable? It's just one of the many questions running through my mind today.

What are they going to do with this o-line? To say it has been a disappointment would be an under statement! I'm 40 years old and have watched a TON of football, and this is some of the worst o-line play I've seen! Smith is struggling at LT. I can only pray its just an adjustment thing and he will get better as the year rolls on. Livings, to my surprise, has been "ok". The center position is not very good, Cook cant get the cadence correct, and when he does he is very pedestrian at best. Bernie has not been very good, and probably doesn't start for the majority of NFL teams. Free, is just a mess! What can you even say about him. What happened to him? How much longer can you stay with him is he doesn't show improvement? Parnell cant be worse, can he? The o-line alone has the chance to derail the entire season.

Is playing at Cowboys stadium even a home field advantage? It may be the quietest stadium in the NFL. Cowboy players were begging people to make a little noise during the game on Sunday. After watching the Sunday night game in Baltimore, and Monday night game in Seattle, it became real apparent to me just how quiet Cowboy stadium is. What are they going to do at the safety position? I hate to play Carr there as he has been great at corner. I read they are working out 5 players today at the ranch. I have only heard of one of them so my expectations are low. The defense played very well on Sunday, but if your honest with yourself you have to admit that Tampa offense is not very good. I think Freeman played a bad game, and the play calling was very curious.

I am a little curious about some of the roster moves. Why keep Felix Jones? I believe his role can be filled by Tanner and Dunbar, and it would send a message to the team about performance. Why call up Orie Lemon and still keep Conner active? What happens when Albright comes back from his stinger? Do you inactivate Conner or Lemon? Why even keep Conner at this point? IMO he doesn't add anything you couldn't get from Lemon. Why not put Matt Johnson on IR? At this point its unlikely you'll get any contribution from him this season, he's missed too much time. And my final question......Why won't Jerry Jones just shut up???? I am so tired of hearing him everywhere!!!

So thats about it!. If you guys have any answers lets hear em.
