Who put the Super Bowl Champs to bed and kissed them goodnight? The Cowboys that's who! I had to watch half of the game at home and listen to the 2nd half on the radio cause I had to work but I'm ok with that. So I wanted to give a few observations. Even more than a win this game was a test and the Boys past the test with points to spare. The offense was good, but they need to improve the offensive line. The defense was solid although they did give up some big plays. I was ready to pull my hair out when the penalties piled up, that seems to be the plague for which there is no cure. So the things the coaches need to do, improve the offensive line, give Tony some protection. They need to eliminate too many of those 3rd downs they allow the other team to convert. But most of all they must, must, must, must, stop shooting themselves in the foot with all those stupid penalties. How they do that last part, I don't know, Garrett must use his brilliant to figure that out. But in the end the Boys played the SB Champs and they won. They get a whole week and a half to enjoy that win. But, the most important thing to remember is this. There's 15 games left to play and anything can happen. They have to stay focused and not look ahead to the post-season. One game at a time. But for right now we can treat ourselves to a few smiles because who put the SB champs to bed and kissed them goodnight? The Cowboys that's who!
