NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Cowboys are "no longer sold on Murray as the franchise running back". They say to keep an eye out as we near the league trade deadline as the Cowboys have had serious internal discussions about the position and are looking to upgrade the position "possibly in a big way". I seriously have doubts that we will see any activity before the deadline as they have reported the possibility of. Who in the world would you trade for? There are very few guys that I think teams would be willing to trade that I would actually be excited about getting. Actually maybe only one and that is Trent Richardson, but he has already been in trade news this year, and hasn't done much since said trade either, so there is that. One might suggest Marcus Lattimore from the Niners, but typically upgrading the position because of injury concerns wouldn't include the acquisition of the player who has sustained the most horrific injury in recent memory at the position, or in all football. I really just don't see it. I say keep your eye on the position in college and look for them to upgrade there.
