I know, I know, the headline screams troll, however, I'm glad for a different reason than most that pile on Romo. I am an unapologetic Romo supporter, as long as he plays the style he did today.
I wrote a FP a while back questioning weather Romo was changing/buckling under the pressure of his new deal and the added responsibilities we've heard about. Has he been pressured so much to be safe that the truly great Romo was gone? Had the plan been been changed to a dink and dunk style? Can Tony Romo no longer lead an explosive attack?
These were questions I had right up until the start of this game with the Broncos. They have been answered loud and clear. This is the Tony that had been missing, this Tony can beat anyone, and can get us where we need to go.
I am upset about the loss to be sure, but was glad about the interception. It showed me for the first time this season that Tony isn't scared to pull the trigger. Yea, he lost that battle, but if he keeps escaping and slinging the ball like he did today, very few teams will hang with the Cowboys, defense or not.
I for one am ecstatic to see gunslinger Tony Romo back on the field, please let me know in the comments if you agree or disagree
