That's all. I am reading a myriad of defenses for Romo and that last throw, but honestly he's made that throw so many different ways in so many big games that it hurt last night the most thinking he is still not over that hump. Is he snakebit? Maybe. All I know is he must get through one of these type games and then another and another to earn the right to thumb his nose back and have the last laugh.
Believe me, I was a pretty big talker when I got to NYC 17 years ago - the year Dallas won their final SB of the 90's era and I have eaten crow for all these years up here and gotten heckled by Giants fans by wearing my Cowboys cap, etc etc. Man, I want - no... I NEEEEEED him to stop doing these things in these games.
One thing I did heard today, though - to my surprise (much like the Grinch who stole Christmas) is how everyone I ran into had nothing but praise for Tony Romo. They all knew, and said so, that he had won the duel, just lost the game. So, maybe that is my little glimmer of light that if this team can actually put it together, this may be a special group.
So, please, Tony - no more last second interceptions that end the game on the wrong side of the points. You're better than that. I am a fan who put down the kool-aid a long time ago. It's put up time or shut up time. I will call out ANY player if they screw up - intentionally or unintentionally. Tony fumbled (metaphorically speaking) and when you fumble you dont get a totally free pass.
Dont do it again Tony. Exorcise that demon! Win when it counts the most and you'll be there.
