In the heat of the moment, I wanted to unload on the quarterback for throwing another interception to lose another game. Even though the rest of the team is equally at fault for this loss, the first thing you learn in pee-wee football is which color uniform you are supposed to be throwing to. Romo maybe missed that lesson. Whatever, this has happened again and again and I, and many other Cowboys fans, are starting to get numb to the fact that we may be staring down the barrel of a long few years of futility unless the culture of losing is stopped.
Maybe a good place to start is with the man who has assembled this load of - ahem - talent. Jerry Jones. He of the knee-jerk decision Jones's. He of the "talent evaluator" Jones's. He of the captain of the draft room Jones's.
I still wonder what type of quarterback Tony Romo would have been with a top notch coach and mentor. We'll probably never find that out. He's a good guy. A good quarterback. It's just that in Dallas, only greatness and clutch work out here.
