NFL Odds And Lines, Cowboys @ Bears 2013: Line Moves To Favor Cowboys

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

It's still very early in the betting week, but some sportsbooks are beginning to show the Cowboys as slight favorites for the Week 14 Monday Night Football game against the Bears in Chicago.

The Chicago Bears host the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football in Week 14, and the Vegas oddsmakers are expecting a close game.

According to vegasinsider.com, the Bears started out as 1.5-point favorites, but that line quickly moved to even odds after the Bears lost in overtime to the Vikings and the Cowboys won against the Raiders. Since then, the line has moved again, and you can now find the Cowboys as slight 1.5 to 2.5-point favorites at various locations.

Keep in mind that because this game is on Monday night, action is still slow on this particular game, so the line could still move, depending on how the action develops. But it looks like the early money went the Cowboys' way as the early bettors thought that getting the Cowboys as 1.5-point underdogs was a pretty sweet deal. The line subsequently shifted to reflect that.

The Cowboys are one of the best bets this season, going 8-4 ATS so far (even after failing to cover against the Raiders on Thanksgiving), while the Bears are one of the worst: After Sunday's overtime loss to Minnesota, the Bears are 2-9-1 ATS.

Considering the game is in Chicago, these odds suggest that if the game were to be played on a neutral field, the Cowboys would be favored by four to five points.

Which way are you leaning? Are you so confident in a Dallas victory that you'd be willing to give the points?
