Really? Just....really? This wasn't Peyton Manning and his stable of five great receivers. This wasn't Drew Brees, jimmy graham, and Marques Colston. Yes the bears receivers are good. Maybe even great. But this was a backup quarterback. This was a game we needed to win. This was a game where your offense came out hot, and you took the wind out of their sails.
its not just that you got beat. It's not just that it's into the fourth quarter and you haven't provided a single stop yet. It's the embarrassing tackling. It's the dropped interception chances. It's the careless penalties. It's the fact the you seriously, honestly look like you did not care at all if you won this football game.
Its that you again assumed a runner was going to fall down, and allowed him to gain another 8 yards. At least this one didn't score.
It's the times you just fell down for no reason. It's the times that the fans at home and the commentators in the booth knew exactly what play you were about to see. But you didn't know.
i struggle to make ends meet. My wife and I have good jobs, but between a mortgage, daycare, and student loans, we live week to week. I guarantee if I had a single work week like you just showed, I would be fired before I got to the parking lot.
everyone has bad days. This is more than that. You should be embarrassed.
I remember playing high school ball, and knowing when I played a terrible game, that the worst part was the drive home. Riding in the truck with my dad and him explaining all the things I did wrong and what I should have done instead. It sucked.
i suggest on the flight back to Dallas, you all call your dads. Maybe they can help you man up.
