Lions cut 2011 2nd rounder Titus Young

"Young was asked to leave the team on three separate occasions starting last offseason after he punched safety Louis Delmas. He was sent away in November after he intentionally didn’t line up in the proper position during a game against the Green Bay Packers, sabotaging a play. Even after that, the Lions extended another opportunity to Young, which he blew. Young made matters worse with his Twitter account and the situation was clearly headed in this direction. According to the report, he will cost the Lions about $900,000 vs. their salary cap in 2013, a price they are comfortable paying to get rid the nuisance."
