Who’s to say who is right or wrong with their information…ESPN, NFL.com, NFL Network, DC.com? They have their opinions, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s right or wrong. Most of us have watched every single game. During and after the game, we have opinions on what we saw with our own eyes, same as the talking heads and writers. Is what we saw and think “not well informed” just because we aren’t national figures? Imagine if every fan was to watch a Cowboys game without the sound and then shut out ALL print, electronic, and social media for the week. I would be willing to bet that the comments would differ greatly. To many people depend on their information from outside sources instead of forming their own views and opinions.
Not all the fans of this community are college educated, former coaches, former players, lawyers, Dr.‘s, or scouts. That doesn’t make any single one of them any less knowledgeable about their team. They may just have trouble expressing or conveying their comments in a way that doesn’t offend someone or that everyone may agree with.
In any case, this site is far and away better than any of the other SBN sites as far as controlling language and keeping the peace. But I don’t think that people should be warned about anything by the FPW’s unless they receive a flag from another person. If I am not offending the person I am talking to, then leave me alone and vice versa. You guys need to understand that with this many people on one blog, you are going to have a lot of different personalities and from what I have seen so far is that we all stick up for each other and handle it ourselves if someone gets out of line.
