Way Way too early but just for Fun 2014 Cowboys 7th round mock draft

NFL 2014 Mock Draft

1st round

Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame 4-3 6'3 329

Louis Nix III was a disrupt force for the North Dame defense the pass two season and expect the same thing this coming season. He has great agility movement and mobility for a guy his size. He is really dominate at controlling the line scrimmage and stop the running. He is a great at penetration and has a knack of getting into the backfield. He cause major problems for offense lineman with his bull rush abilities. He would be perfect fit as a 3 tech in Monte Kiffin 4-3 defense scheme and a perfect candidate as a replacement for Jay Ratliff.

2nd round

Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee 6'6 325

Antonio Richardson is a big physically athletic offense lineman; who was good enough his sophomore season to allow Tennessee to move Dallas Thomas to the inside. He is a dominant run blocker and has the ability to finish block down field. His strength and size could give him the ability to play multiple positions on the next level. He was outstanding blocking for Tyler Bray last season and led and offense line that only allowed 8 sack last season. Richardson more than held his own going against top prospect Jadeveon Clowney last season. He would be perfect fit to replace Doug Free at right tackle position. I like idea of having Richardson on team because it would be liking having two Tyron Smith on the same team. Drafting Richardson would give stability to cowboys offense line for a long time with two outstanding young tackles in Smith and Richardson.

3rd round

Aaron Lynch, DE, South Florida 6'6 325

Aaron Lynch is a outstand athlete at 6'6 262 with outstanding lateral mobility; who use his athleticism to get to pass blockers. He has good hand and a good feel for the game. He was a five star athlete coming out college in 2011 led North Dame in sack with 5.5 his freshman season as well as 33 tackle. He was a freshman all American at Notre Dame. He left Norte Dame at middle of spring practice and headed home for South Florida. He will be playing his first season at South Florida after sitting out last season due to transfer rules. I think his reputation for having lack of disciplined and lack of motivation will cause him to fall in the draft if he chooses to enter next year. Lynch doesn't fit RKG that Jason Garret likes from his player but Lynch does have time to improve and could turn thing around under a coach like Jason Garrett. If cowboys choose not to resign Anthony Spencer after this season Aaron Lynch would be the perfect replacement.

4th round

Logan Thomas Virginia Tech, 6'6 258

Logan Thomas tend to draw comparison to Cam Newton. He is 6'6 260 pound with a big arm and has the athletic ability to make plays with his legs. In 27 career starts at Virginia tech he has 6,096 passing yard and 1,015 yard rushing with his mix of s strength and play making ability he would be a prefect candidate for a developmental quarterback of cowboys and possible future replacement for Tony Romo.

5th round

Trey Hopkins Texas O,G 6'4 302

He very quick coming off the line good with his feet and has ability to keep his balance and rarely see him on the ground. He is great at blocking in space and maintain contact and finishing off blocks. He is a four year starter at Texas with the ability to play guard and Tackle spot. He would be great pick for the Cowboys to come in and compete with other young guys on this cowboys roster.

6th round

Steve Divitto Boston College OLB 6'6 238

Divitto a 3 year starter at Boston College registered 184 tackles in 34 games would be a perfect fit to come in and compete for Sam position on the Cowboys roster and would add depth that is needed at that position. He was a great leader at BC and fist the RKG the Cowboys are looking for.

7th round

J.C. Copeland FB LSU 6'1 272

Copeland is entering his second full season as starting fullback for LSU after moving from defensive line. Copeland pick up the position quickly and has becoming a dominating run blocking dominating defensive lineman. He also a great goal line option after rushing for 4 rushing touchdowns for LSU last season. Lawrence Vickers struggled last season for Cowboys but to be able to have guy like Copeland blocking for them in 2014 would be a dream come true for Dallas cowboys running backs.
