Cowboys @ Cardinals: Game Day Open Thread III (Preseason)

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals lead the Dallas Cowboys 9-0 at halftime.

Uh, really? We wait all week to watch the Dallas Cowboys play a preseason game, and Dallas proceeds to turn the ball over five times? It was just about as frustrating a preseason half as you can have. When Dallas wasn't busy turning the ball over, they were actually moving it. The Cowboys missed out on six points on a drive where they didn't turn it over when Romo couldn't connect with Terrance Williams for an easy touchdown. The Cowboys run game is also not happening.

On the bright side of things, the Cowboys defense was able to hold Arizona only nine points on five turnovers. The Dallas defense really stiffened once they got backed into the redzone. They were prepared to handle their business, the offense wasn't.

Now we will get a look at a lot of the guys fighting for the roster.

This is an open thread for game chat.
