Okay. I really don't know where to start, so I'm just going to jump feet first into this. Guess it all started Sunday. You remember...the whole six turnover PRESEASON game. Forgive me if I yell that, but that is what it was. Not happy about miscues, but this is what these games are for.
Probably shouldn't be such a touchy case about this. Just a game (unless you work for a twenty-four hour sports network or a newspaper in Northern Texas). Continues to amaze me that the Redskins are down to their third quarterback, the Giants lost two starters Saturday, & the Eagles are a mess. Should make me feel pretty good. It is still PRESEAON. Actually heard a guy on national television claim that six turnovers isn't the way you want to go into your third PRESEASON game. Probably not, unless you have five. Not talking dress rehearsal here.
Tired of television, I fired up my trusty PC for some Dallas Talk Radio. Imagine my dismay when I heard complaints on David Arkin being a starting guard. Last time I checked, he's not going to play against the Giants. Where does this stuff come from? Pretty sure he is playing against every guard in the league about to be on the waiver wire. Oh yeah, and suddenly Tony Romo forgot how to find receivers, too. Crazy stuff. The last thing I worry about with this team is the offense. Brings me to my next point, actually...
Jumped on the web to read a certain Dallas Newspaper. One of the columnist has a chat most weeks. He's not a fan of the owner, coach, or quarterback. Used to hearing that stuff. What amazed me was his worry about the defensive line. Last time I looked there are three Pro-bowlers there. This person must have been out of the loop for a while. Maybe someone should tell him about some other people (Sean Lee, Bruce Carter, Morris Claiborne, etc...).
This gets me to my last point. Keep hearing that Dallas can't run the ball. Funny, I thought they did that pretty well against Miami. How did that happen? The ball is in your court "Mr. Baseball Writer".
