Let me first say (though i shouldn't have to) that this is all in good fun, and completely made up. No hard feelings.
Blogging The Boys: What's going on with the offensive line. Who will play? Do you have confidence in them?
DFTB: Dude, does it matter? I mean, three of your studs are out, and your D-line has still been all over quarterbacks like this guy on a ham sammich:
BTB: Phillip Rivers is certainly enjoying a good season. What do you attribute that to?
DFTB: I mean, what can i say. You know that kid in your 3rd grade class that was always eating the glue sticks and smelled like a hamster cage? Well, even he hit the piñata once in a while.
BTB: The defense seems to be struggling, what's the major issues there?
DFTB: Wait, we're supposed to play defense too? Don't you think that's a little too much to ask? We just agreed that Rivers is playing well. Let's focus on that. After he retires, or is knocked out of football for good thanks to our o-line, then we'll get ourselves a defense. Right now we're going to just try to score a bajillion points every game. Hasn't work so well so far, but hey, a guy can hope.
BTB: Talk about your new coach. What has he brought to the team?
DFTB: Well, as we just mentioned, he DIDN'T bring a defense with him. Damn. But he LOOKS wicked smart, so that's gotta be good right? I mean, doesn't this look like the guy you made do your chemistry homework for you?
BTB: If you were Dallas, what game plan would you use against San Diego?
DFTB: Honestly, as long as they don't get too hammered on the morning of the game, they should roll. I would say that they should try to sack Rivers all the time, but I'm sure that's the game plan anyway. Please don't hurt any more of our linemen. Please?
