Is this as crazy as it sounds?

Dave Dameshek popped this little gem into an article he wrote on NFL.com. Is this as crazy as it sounds?

Cowboys get S Jairus Byrd & RB Fred Jackson; Bills get TE Gavin Escobar

Dallas fills a huge need at the backend of their improved defense with one of the best players at his position and backs up the brittle DeMarco Murray with a good pass-catching vet. In return, Buffalo adds another young, athletic weapon for EJ Manuel.

See how easy that was? If Mike Lombardi (and I) can do, so can the other 31 NFL GMs.

With the way Church is playing and with Wilcox showing us that the theatre is not too big, would Byrd really be someone who would help?

We have a bevy of RB's already. I like Jackson. He is a tough s.o.b. But his tread is about worn out. Would he really offer any upside?

By all accounts Escobar is coming along nicely. Is he finally the guy that could eventually replace Witten?

What says you BTB? Is this a trade you would do if you were GM?
