There will be at least 5 teams that have had similar or better records for the past 3-5 years and are more poised for a SB run than the Cowboys that will have the cap room in 2015 to make a serious run at him (not sure if Dez will get a RFA period or not after the 2014 season).
Tyron Smith - same thing!
Imagine a 2015 Dallas Cowboys team without either Dez or Tyron.
Doug Free returning to 2012 form!
Doug had arguably the worst year of his career when he committed 15 penalties (7 holding and 8 false start) and his PFF grade was a -10.1. Last year, he faired fairly well but he's not getting any younger (he's 30). What is the Boys plan for RT in 2015 and beyond - Jeremy Parnell?
DeMarcus Ware's health!
Ware has had a HoF career - no doubt. But why should anyone think he'll return to 12+ sack form when he has been plagued w/ injuries for the past 2 years? What if Ware is the new Ratliff in terms of production and availability?
Tony Romo's back!
Same reasons as Ware. Given Romo's escape capabilities and his propensity to extend plays, who, if anyone, should be expected to fill in and carry the team to the playoffs? Orton? If not Orton, then why is he being paid $3+ million to be Romo's backup?
The Cowboys FO thinking that George Selvie and Tyrone Crawford are the heart of the D line going forward (at DE and 3 tech) and don't draft a 1 tech or backup 3 tech until the 5th or later rounds? Will the play calling allow for DeMarco Murray to be used more (he was 31st in the league in carries)? What about actually using all these TEs the Boys seem to want to have around? Who should be the MLB given Lee has only played in 17 games in the past two seasons, has never played in every game of any season and has yet to be on the field for the last game of the season? What should be done about Mo Claiborne if he has another below average year and/or is hurt most of the time?
