If he is willing to go from a HC to a TE Coach, I believe that Rob Chudzinski would be a great hire. Chudzinski has worked with and for Norv Turner so he has a similar offensive philosophy to that of Jason Garrett. While Chudzinski may not have thrived as a HC, he has shown at almost all stops that he is a good OC and an outstanding TEs coach.
He started coaching at The U. He coached All-Americans Bubba Franks, Jeremy Shockey, and Kellen Winslow Jr. Chudzinski is also credited with contributing to the development of Antonio Gates as the OC and TEs Coach for the San Diego Chargers. Working for the Carolina Panthers during Cam Newton's rookie season, Cam thrived as did Greg Olsen and the rest of the Offense.
However, the most impressive thing that Chudzinski has done was his work last year in Cleveland. He had a thriving passing offense with Bryan Hoyer, Brandon Weeden and Jason Campbell. He turned Jordan Cameron into a monster at TE and Josh Gordon into a dominant WR. He is happy to help feed star players.
If Chudzinski was willing to come to the Cowboys as TEs Coach and helping with the offensive gameplan, I believe he would be a huge asset. First, he could help with the development of Hanna and Escobar. Second, since he is open to feeding the stars, he could help structure an offense that actually throws the play to Dez and utilizes Murray.
