The other post I wrote obviously was a pipe dream. I just feel whatever happens to Ware (whether he is cut or taking a pay cut), he is on the decline. Yes, it burns us to death to hear that but it is sadly true. Not only he is on the decline but we are losing Hatcher and Spencer. We may sign one to a very very cheap contract but thats unlikely. We come into this draft with a Huge need on the defensive line (which may take two drafts to provide solid depth). However, we still have lots of needs on defense such as LB and Safety. Church is a good safety but who plays next to him? Heath? Wilcox? Heath knows where to be but doesn't know what to do when he is near the ball. Wilcox, he has the physical tools but needs the mental tool. Depending who is on the board while we are on clock, I wouldn't mind take Clinton-Dix but my prediction in this mock he is gone before us so here it goes.
st round: Ra'Shede Hageman DT: This dude is massive! He played really good and be a force on this line. He could play the 1-tech while attracting double teams. That would do wonders for this dline.
nd round: Aaron Donald DT/DE- This dude is an absolute beast! He is small weighing at 285 but he can play 3 tech or DE which is great versatility which Jason Garrett likes on his team.
rd round: Jackson Jeffcoat DE- Standing 6-5 245lbs. He can gain some weight to play DE but he could be a solid rotational player for the DE position.
th Round: Jeremiah Attaochu OLB- A bit undersized but has the speed and quick twitch to play SAM or be backup Will LB. Provide solid depth.
th Round: Wesley Johnson OT- Needs to gain strength and weight to play tackle but he has good length and movement skills. He has upside to become a good RT starter for the future or backup of the future.
th round: Eric Ward WR- I been watching this kid play. He runs good routes and can catch. Very productive as well. He could be dangerous in the slot and provide more depth with Austin gone.
th round: Antonio Andrews RB- I think he can fight it out with our current running backs. If he turns to be something then hes a keeper.
th round Chris Coyle FB- We can save some cap space (probably little with cutting clutts) and see what this kid can do.
So there is my mock for this draft. Its way to early to see who go where but its something to start this year. We got 2 solid DT's, DE, OLB, backup OT, WR, RB, and FB. Let me know what you guys think...
