Oregon State is hiring former Dallas Cowboys passing game coordinator John Garrett as the Beavers' new offensive coordinator, according to a source. Garrett is traveling to Corvallis this week to finalize the process, the source said. Garrett worked for his brother, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett, before taking a job last year as the Bucs' wide receivers coach. Garrett and OSU coach Mike Riley have a long-standing relationship. Garrett also spent National Signing Day with the Beavers.
