Everything has changed! The CBA has changed the salary cap so that veterans are no longer a part of the family of a franchise. Can't afford them any more. It's a sad day for the NFL when players can't comfortably play out their careers with a team they grew up with because they are too expensive. I remember the day that you could get to know your team and go through the ups and downs, enjoying the process and the mix of rookies and veterans on a football team. Those days are gone now. Micheal Bush, Darren Sproles, Demarcus Ware? released because they are too expensive. There needs to be an adjustment made so that veterans can grow into a role with a franchise and not grow their way out of a franchise. Anyone else seeing this happening? What needs to be changed to get back to the "glory days"?
