Possible Future HoFers

How many fans thought Young would become a HoFer when he was traded to the 49ners after being labeled a bust? How many people knew 6th round pick Tom Brady would have a HoF career? 3rd Rounder Jason Witten? Undrafted James Harrison?

What current Cowboys could one day be wearing a Gold Jacket, immortalized in our hearts? Yes, we know the obvious ones (Jason Witten, Ware). But what Young player, whose story is far from over, could grow into a HoFer? I offer some possibilities and encourage you to comment your own.

Dez Bryant

The most obvious choice, if Bryant continues having the Stats that he has, he'll easily be in the HoF. I predict he'll continue improving and can Break Records. He may even be the fire and motivator for a Super Bowl Winning Squad in the Future... sound familiar?

Tyron Smith

At 23, Smith is already one of the best Left Tackles in the NFL, and the arrow is pointing up. He could easily develop into one of the best OTs of all time.

Sean Lee

IF (and that's a big if) he can stay healthy He'll be on his way to several Defensive MVPs and possibly a gold jacket.

Gavin Escobar

After the Cowboys release Jason Witten, the little used Tight End was left standing in the future HoFer's Shadow. Escobar decided he was not going to be stuck in Witten's shadow... he decided he would shine. He went on to break numerous Receiving records and become one of the best blocking TEs in the league. He became known for his great hands and route running, much like the one who came before him.

How likely are these to come true? Do you have any predictions?
