Houston from 33 to 16?
Alright bare with me folks as this is all just speculation and wanted some feed back on it. Lets say that Houston takes Clowney as thought, and they still need that Franchise QB, and lets just say that Manziel falls all the way to us at 16 and Donald and Barr are off. We now have the an opportunity to talk Houston into a possible trade. Everyone keeps talking about the depth of the draft so what if we traded with the Houston Texans Getting their 2nd round pick, Future first round pick, Future third round pick, then we also get their Third and their 6th round pick all just to give up 16 spots. Likely we would miss the chance at Zack Martin, Jernigan, Ealy. But sitting at 33 would allow us to select someone like Ward, Hageman, or any of The other covented DE, DT, G's. The idea of this is Houston is the first pick in each of the rounds. We could trade back pick up 2 additional picks this year and be able to select twice in the First round next season and twice in the 3rd round then next. Theres no guarrentee that Houston wont make a big run and be you know a late first round pick next season, Im willing to gamble and say that this new Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator will take a season to jell so we are looking at say 8-8 to 7-9 placing houston from the 10-20 range next season. I honestly don't have a chart to see if this is even a plausible deal. Not to mention Houston would give there brand new Head coach the ability to have a team to win with. Maybe you can milk the Texans for more.
