Lebron James just opted out of his contract. I'm watching ESPN right now and they are going down the list of teams that could make serious play for Lebron. Well guess who has plenty of money to offer.... You guessed it, the Dallas Mavericks. Could Lebron and Dirk win a title, definitely!
But there is another question that I am playfully considering. Lebron James, Jimmy Graham-ish TE, for your Dallas Cowboys. We've seen elite stars play two sports before but this one actually makes sense. Well kinda sorta..LOL. Due to the limited # of games and when the playoffs and Super Bowl is, playing in the NBA and NFL is a better situation than what Deion and Bo did.
Lebron and Bosh, whose from Texas, could leave pathetic D-Wade behind to his iconic status in Miami, to win with Dirk. Lebron, who was an All-State football player in Ohio (nothing to sneeze at), could play for us in spots, and especially down the December stretch, when no one is paying attention to the NBA any way. We all know that Lebron is a Dallas fan. We all remember this:
Lebron made the commercial but it was a Dallas jersey that he wanted to use . But they went politically correct because he was playing in Cleveland back then. I know, I know...A bunch of you will blast me because you hate him for the "decision" but this decision would be extremely entertaining. Imagine ESPN's braintrust going out of their minds trying to determine how to clone Ed Werder to get as much coverage as they could for this...LOL.
Maybe Jerry could also trade for Manziel because Lebron is his friend. Oh man! maybe I'm on to something. Is Lebron gonna actually play for the Browns? ..FOR REAL??? That would exorcise all the "Cleveland hates Lebron demons"...wouldn't it..? The Cavs are a much better roster now and have the #1 pick and Manziel is in Cleveland...WOW!!!!??? Hmmmm?
