First off, I know this is a bit of a short fanpost. I don't have any link to share so please don't issue a warrant for such a short post.
I haven't heard much on this subject but I have wondered all preseason if it was possible for Sean Lee to recover in time for postseason play.
ACL surgery typically takes 7-9 months to recover from what I understand, and I realize there may be some rehab to add in. Now he injured his knee on May 27 of this year which would put him at best to recover by January. Is it possible to play that soon after this type of injury? I mean he had the same injury last October and was in OTAs in May. Even as a rotational player there is no doubt he could help the defense.
Lately, other NFL players have been recovering from similar injuries at an incredible rate. What do you guys think? Fill us in on what you know might know about ACL surgery. Hopefully this a nice little topic to ponder on before the season starts. And again, this is IF and a big IF the Cowboys make it into the postseason. I'm not trying to jinx the boys or make any bold predictions, let's be clear on that. Thanks and keep up the great material I'm about a 3 year vet here and although I don't post much, but I do read daily.
Keep up the good work and more importantly GO COWBOYS!
