I don't see

how a 49ers incentive package at OC trumps a HC at Dallas unless that HC in Dallas is for a limited time period. It might shift the balance if Coach Turner doesn't really want to come back to Dallas, like it did with Coach Zimmer going to Nebraska, but as a Dallas fan I believe there is no better place in all of football to coach.

They all want this gig; they're campaigning in the newspapers already.  Like Parcells told his agent, "We're playing the big room now."

Hopefully this won't raise Jerry's hackles and compel him to "respond to the competition."  I'll root for the 'Niners for the first time in my life.
