Free Agent WR

A 6'2", 198 lb receiver with 4.38 speed and 11 TD receptions in 12 games last year is on the free agent market and wants to play for the Cowboys. Sounds like a number one receiver in the making. Maybe we should think about signing him.

outer rush is more important than middle push

The Giants had the outer rush. They won The Patriots had the inner push . It wasn;t enough It is better to have a pass rushing end than a big nose tackle. It is nice to have a big nose tackle but a pass rushing end is more disruptive.

NFL Awards

I have to rant a little. Rodgers won MVP and deserved it. He also deserved Offensive Player of the Year but they gave it to Brees as an "atta boy" for breaking the passing record that Brady also broke. Stafford was thisclose as well. It really gets on my nerves. Brees doesn't deserve anything just because he broke a silly record. Rodgers averaged more YPA. He was better. He deserves it. AND that isn't even the worst part. Suggs gets DPOY? For his career high 14 sacks? Ware has had 19+ twice now, will be a first ballot HOF, and possibly go down as one of the top two or three pass rushers of all time. It's a shame that he's lost out on this award again. He deserves to be recognized. It's clearly because Suggs played for a team that was more successful, just like back when they handed it to Harrison. Plus, they hate our 'Boys. That is all.

How about Cedric Griffin?

Rumor is that the Vikings are about to part ways with Griffin. The reason is his $4.1 million contract. He is a RKG and could be had for less.What do you think?

If all the Cowboys were this motivated

OLB DeMarcus Ware (DAL) said he will be watching Super Bowl XLVI as a form of motivation. Ware believes the team was close to being a Super Bowl contender this season. "Yeah, I'll watch on Sunday," Ware said. "It will sort of motivate me to play a little bit harder next season, knowing how close we were." The Cowboys were 0-3 against the New England Patriots and New York Giants this season

O-Line Calls

Something to consider while rebuilding the O-Line... I remember a knock on Gurode was that he couldn't make the line calls so Kosier was making all the adjustments. I don't know if Costa did it this past year or if Kosier kept that responsibility. This makes me lean towards acquiring a veteran C rather than drafting someone like Konz. Yeah?
