Broaddus says Valley Ranch is talking about a C, not a G.
I'm an illustrator and former writer over at Bright Side of the Sun (the Phoenix Suns SB Nation blog). I did this piece for my brother, a Cowboys fan, for Christmas and wanted to share it with you guys.
Feel free to let me know what you think and check out this and more here.
I know we'll all be getting some fun Cowboys gear for Christmas, but my birthday was yesterday so thought I'd share my haul...
My wife got me a hat with a vintage logo patch like the one in the photo... the patch itself is vintage but put on a new 'distressed' broken in cap. And she got me a Witten 2011 Panini card.
Then my aunt (who lives in Arlington) got me Cowboys M&Ms, Cowboys beverage insulator, Cowboys pens, a Cowboys football tree ornament, Cowboys crossword puzzle book, and a "The Boys" t-shirt.
When they can't think of anything else I need, Cowboys gear is an easy choice, which I don't mind ;)
There's no ceiling for this kid...thank goodness. He'd give himself a concussion jumping like this!
I guess Indy fans are ready for their next franchise QB.

Measurables are just too good to ignore. Defensive ends with that kind of size and speed are just uncommon .
Right now he is under the radar.
He is unproven nevertheless it might be very welll worth to trade a 6th round (or even a 5th) in 2013 to get a seventh (or sixth) sixth this year to get him. Could be a bust but well worth the gamble. Hoping to get him as a UDFA is too much of a gamble.
Numbers are too good to pass up. Chance for a rather significant payoff!
looks like he could play Clyde Simmons (former 9th round pick in a movie)
Tall fast defensive ends are tough to find even in the early rounds . This is a chance to get one of those guys for pennies on the dollar.
Trade down and get BOTH
Devin Taylor and Bruce Irvin
Think about it
The Cowboys Draft " Mistake"
Pearlman found out the Cowboys went right down to the wire about whether to pick Payton in the 1975 draft, and they went with Randy White because they thought he'd last longer, not because he was the better player. He found out how disappointed Payton was to be picked by the Bears. He wrote how seriously the Bears questioned Payton after a poor rookie year.
Did the Cowboys make a mistake??
Not the worst mistake anyone has every made still something to think about.
I did not want to be very long winded so I just posted this here. I fear we will lose Rob Ryan after this year. With the performance of his defense against the Patriots he surely will be a top candidate for a HC job next year. If Garrett continues to show this conservative approach, and lose the next game by 4 points or less is it time to make another change. We went on a win streak after last year's mid season change. Is ROb Ryan's aggressiveness and hit them in the mouth attitude just what we need around here? I think so time to hit someone in the mouth when we are leading not let them slowly creep back up on us.
