The offseason is long, especially when you finish with a losing record...again. In this prolonged absence of football there seems to be some growing dementia regarding our RT position and a man named Doug Free. Look no further than comments by our owner/GM, who may or may not have been possessed by the ghost of Al Davis when it comes to reality checks on our current roster. This video is from the Cleveland Brown game. Listen to Michael Irvin, perhaps the biggest Cowboy homer on television. If your argument is that Free improved later in the season, please seek medical attention at once. If he is our starting RT week one, I have no faith in 2013.
I think this guy is the answer at the 1 technique. While this isn't football related.. he's a freak. He was the most explosive DT at the combine and if you watch him on tape he dominates one on ones with great penetration. He is double teamed often and typically the play is run away from him because of how dominant he was. It was great to see him succeed at the Senior Bowl and Combine.
You guys seemed to like my past videos, so here is a new one for this season. Part 2 is the Dallas-Cincinnati game linked at the end.
Larry Allen runs down Saints LB to prevent TD. Y'all have to see this link I found on the Mothership,. It's his rookie year.
