JESSICA SIMPSON has hit out at fans of American football team the Dallas Cowboys, for dubbing her a bad luck charm.
Devotees of the Texas team turned on Simpson after her quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo under performed during games when she was watching in the stands.

But Simpson insists she had nothing to do with the team's bad performances, telling Glamour magazine, "I don't know - other than me wearing my man's jersey and cheering him on. And him not playing the way he would've hoped and all of a sudden I'm to blame.
"That was ludicrous. I don't understand why they think that I would be a distraction to Tony. Do they really think he can see way far up in that box? No. He's the most focused person I've ever dated."

<div class="entry-body">
 ...what you think affects how you feel and how you feel affects how you act. Which means every action starts with your thoughts. If you can change the way you think about things then you can control the way you talk and act about certain situations. As a young athlete, people expect us too mess up; that's just the way it is. Think about it. As soon as an athlete messes up it is every where. ESPN (which will air it about 30 times all day), but I love the show lol, the news, the magazines, the newspapers. Every where! They expect for you to mess up. It could be something simple that goes on everyday in the world: DUIs, fights, strip clubs, parties, but what we got to remember is that we are public figures. We are held at a higher standard than other people. No one cares if John Doe gets pulled over for drinking and driving, but if I was to get in trouble for it, it would be on everything. Is it fair? I believe so because a lot of kids and adults and teenagers look up to us. So as a role model how do you act? Would you want your lil bro or sister falling in your footsteps? When was the last time you heard of a doctor or lawyer getting in trouble? Exactly. Partially because the world doesn't want doctors being looked down upon because everyone needs a doctor. But athletes we come a dime a dozen. We are everyone’s favorite to love and hate. I know I know I know. But, what are we suppose to do to have fun? You can still do all the things you have been doing but now there is a right way and a wrong way. You know the differences. When you have a lot of money you are a target. Paris Hilton for example. Do u know what she does? Neither do I lol, but I know she's loaded hahaha so she's a target. Michael Vick, Pacman, Chris Henry, Jared Allen. Think before you act now. ... A lot of good people make the wrong choices, let's try not to be one. Have I messed up, yea but nobody is perfect. But take responsibility for yours and learn from them.

 "(Jessica would) love nothing more than to get married before Ashlee," a source revealed to Star. "It upsets her that her little sister will be married and she won’t. She gets jealous when Ash gets more attention."

That’s where Jessica’s six-month romance with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo comes in. "She’s been showing him rings in magazines," the insider said. "She tells him what she likes, and she does it right in front of his friends, too, so it’s really awkward."

Awkward or not, Jess plans to keep up the pressure. "She been joking to friends that she should take Tony to Vegas, get him drunk and drag him to the Little White Wedding Chapel."

All joking aside, the Star source claimed that if Tony doesn’t pop the question soon, Jess may just make the proposal herself. "She knows he can’t say no to her."
